Programme Framework:
PGDM full time two-year programme offered by the centre are designed on the principles that create proper balance of theory and practice needed to aid managerial skill formation for effective decision-making and problem solving in a globalised environment. The class room interaction is a combination of lecture and case based methods emphasising on self-leaning. The programme is divided in to six trimesters. During the first two trimesters, the students are provided extensive teaching in a number of core courses. From third trimester onwards till six trimesters, the students are required to complete core as well as elective courses. Students pursue their special interests in-depth through a specialization offered by the programme. During April through June, students are required to undertake a Summer Internship Project (SIP).
During the six trimesters, besides three core courses, students are required to submit winter dissertation under the supervision of a mentor. During the two-year programme, 1250 hours of class room teaching is provided along with extra and co-curriculum activities that are parts of the programme.
Apart from above, students enrolled in the programme are part of the student bodies drawn from all other programmes of the institute. The student conduit comprises of members from six committees i.e. Discipline Committee, Mess Committee, Newsletter Committee, Media Committee, Cultural Committee and Sports Committee. These conduits not only apprise students of latest developments in their respective fields but also engage them in organizing various activities.
