Recognising the need of developing examples from emerging market like India, BIMTECH realises the need to create knowledge in various domains of management and business. In fulfilment of objectives as enshrined in its Mission, in its quest for continued excellence and research orientation in management education, and in its endeavour to be a partner in spread of knowledge, BIMTECH has established, BIMTECH Centre for Management Case Development (BCMCD).

Founded in 1967 as an offshoot of the University of Bradford, Emerald Group Publishing has become the world’s leading scholarly publisher of journals and books in business and management. In 2009, more than 21 million Emerald articles were downloaded and read in research and study. This equates to more than 50,000 a day, every day of the year.

Partnership with Emerald

BIMTECH has signed an memorandum of understanding with Emerald Publishing House to meet the objectives and create and international environment in case development. Partnership includes;

• BCMCD will take necessary steps to promote case writing and develop both teaching and research cases covering all management and administrative disciplines. These cases will be submitted to Emerald on exclusive basis.
• Emerald will provide an international case publication channel through its expansive portfolio of management journals and through Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS), its 2011 new launch case collection.
• Emerald will support the case writing efforts
• The authors of the accepted cases will be eligible for royalty to be payable directly by Emerald.
