| A high profile team from AIU, comprising Secretary General, AIU; Vice Chancellor, GGSIP University, Delhi and Vice Chancellor, Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) visited BIMTECH campus on 19th August for appraisal. AIU has now granted equivalence to PGDM programme with MBA degree for a period of 5 years. BIMTECH is among 32 other Indian B-Schools including 6 IIMs; IMT, Ghaziabad and MDI, Gurgaon who have got such equivalence for their PGDM Programmes |

B-School ranking 2009 |
| Year 2009 has brought new heights and accolades for BIMTECH in terms of its ranking among the top business schools of the country. This year the institute has climbed up in the ladder of top business schools in the rankings by C-fore survey of best business schools, which was published in OPEN magazine and the Business Today-Nielsen survey of best business schools, published in Business Today. It has achieved the 20th rank in C-fore survey and the 18th rank in BT-Nielsen survey among all business schools of the country. In the league of Private Business Schools of the Country, BIMTECH is ranked at 7th position in C-fore survey against the 8th position last year, whereas in the Business Today Ranking, the institute is placed at 9th position among Private business schools. |

| Towards closer to its Vision 2011, BIMTECH made progress on its application to be an accredited institution by National Board of Accreditation, a body of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, India, professional education regulator of India belonging to Ministry of HRD, India. This accreditation has been awarded to the PGDM Programme which is flagship programme of the institute. The NBA has given Birla us the highest quality mark which is accreditation for 5 years. There are very few b-schools in India achieving this quality mark by NBA. |

BIMTECH reaches 1st Position in North and 6th in India amongst private B-schools in Business Today Ranking 2008 |
| BIMTECH has been recognized again with high grades for its growth and performance on the methodology adopted by Business Today – AC Nielsen Survey. The B-school survey published dated July 13, 2008 has ranked BIMTECH on 6th business school of India and 1st B-school in the north of India amongst 1600 odd B-schools of India. The survey ranks in the top 10 in Top of Mind and First Favorites of Indian B-schools. This gives us a deep satisfaction and huge responsibility to sustain in the Ivy League list and improve further. The consolidated ranking gives BIMTECH 15th position nationwide amongst 1500 odd business schools in India. |

Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) has followed the developments of the economy and business and has been the forerunner in estimating the changes and growth patterns. BIMTECH has served the economy and academia with 2 new programmes for full time education at Master’s level i.e. Insurance Management and Retail Management. Under the framed policy about the knowledge up-dation and inclusion in the syllabus, we have undergone the third year exercise of programme review and revision.

The ACU is a voluntary organisation, which is registered in England and Wales as a charity (number 314137) and is controlled by its member institutions through an elected council. Her Majesty the Queen, the Head of the Commonwealth, is the Association's Patron.
Established in 1913, the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is the oldest international association of universities in the world with an agenda to foster collaboration between developed and developing country universities. Approximately five hundred members are spread across five continents representing a diverse range of institutions. Commonwealth universities are therefore able, through the ACU, to network easily, extensively and fruitfully, sharing problems, solutions and good practice across a variety of higher education environments.

Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) is a bilateral business organization with 400 active members today, both French and Indian companies from a variety of sectors. IFCCI established in 1977 is a common forum of India and France business and trading community. IFCCI acts as a common facilitator of business and trade promotion for both the countries. To facilitate and promote networking within the French Indian business community, IFCCI organizes different social and professional events. Members enjoy publications (directories, newsletters), logistical or employment services, recommendation letters, business support to find partnership for their activities in France.
