Event Overview
BIMTECH successfully hosted its first-ever Dubai Chapter Alumni Meet on Saturday, 4th October 2025 at Hotel Royal Ascot, Bur Dubai marking a significant milestone in strengthening the Institute’s global alumni network. The event served as a platform for reconnecting with our alumni community based in the UAE and nearby regions, fostering professional collaboration, and reinforcing the BIMTECH spirit beyond borders.
Objective of the Meet
The primary objective of the Dubai Alumni Meet was to:
- Strengthen engagement with BIMTECH alumni residing in the UAE and the Middle East.
- Provide a networking platform for alumni to connect with fellow graduates across programs and batches.
- Share institutional updates and ongoing initiatives.
- Encourage alumni participation in upcoming global chapter activities and BIMTECH events.
Highlights of the Event
- The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni across various programs and batches, currently working in reputed organizations across sectors such as Consulting, Retail, Real Estate, and Technology.
- The meet was coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Prabina Rajib, Director BIMTECH, and Prof. Pooja Misra, Chairperson – Alumni Relations, with active support from the Alumni Conduit members.
- The gathering began with a welcome address by Convenor Dr. Pooja Misra, who warmly greeted the attendees and acknowledged everyone who contributed to making the evening a success.
- Co-Convenor Dr. Aseem Mishra shared insights into BIMTECH’s remarkable journey — highlighting its growth, infrastructure, and achievements that continue to make the alumni community proud.
- Ms. Nidhi Lakhanpal efficiently managed registrations and personally welcomed all alumni, ensuring a warm and thoughtful experience. She also helped in coordinating and executing various activities, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the event.
- Alumni shared their professional journeys and personal experiences, reflecting on their time at BIMTECH and its contribution to their success.
- The evening concluded with an interactive networking session, group photographs, and an informal dinner, fostering stronger personal and professional bonds among attendees.
