Students of the PGDM-International Business (PGDM-IB) programme at BIMTECH participated in the Inclusive and Immersive Experiential Learning (I2XL) Programme hosted by Singapore Management University (SMU), Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore. The five-day international immersion provided a unique opportunity to engage with global faculty, industry experts, and peers while addressing contemporary business challenges through experiential learning.

The programme combined academic sessions, design thinking workshops, AI-enabled analytics, mentorship, industry interactions, and collaborative problem-solving. Students explored themes including investment alternatives, sustainability, artificial intelligence, portfolio management, and innovation. A corporate visit to DBS Bank enabled participants to understand how one of Southeast Asia's leading financial institutions is leveraging digital transformation and sustainability in banking.

Throughout the programme, students worked in interdisciplinary teams under the guidance of SMU faculty and industry mentors to develop proof-of-concept solutions for real-world business problems. The learning experience culminated in project presentations before a panel of mentors and experts, followed by the award of completion certificates.

Beyond academics, the programme fostered cross-cultural learning, networking with global professionals, and exposure to Singapore's innovation ecosystem. Students enhanced their analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and leadership capabilities while gaining practical insights into AI, financial innovation, and design thinking.

The I2XL programme reflects BIMTECH's continued commitment to providing global learning opportunities that complement classroom learning with international exposure and industry engagement. Such initiatives prepare students to become globally competent, ethically responsible, and future-ready management professionals.
