Through an engaging and thought-provoking discussion, he introduced students to the concept of geopolitics, explaining its origins and significance in shaping global economic and business decisions.
He elaborated on how geopolitical developments influence international trade, investment patterns, and global supply chains. Using contemporary global examples, he demonstrated the increasing importance of strategic alliances, trade agreements, and international diplomacy in determining business outcomes. He further discussed globalization, foreign direct investment (FDI), international capital flows, free trade agreements (FTAs), rare earth minerals, and emerging economic corridors. His session provided students with a broader perspective on the interconnected nature of global business and the opportunities arising from changing geopolitical realities.
