Shailja Vasisht

Assistant Professor

Biosketch

With over 12 years of experience in higher education, I has built a strong academic career specializing in finance. I hold a PhD in banking and studied the risk management practices and quality of their disclosures during my doctoral research. Prior to joining BIMTECH, I have worked at prestigious institutions like the Indian School of Business and Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, where I developed and delivered courses in banking, corporate finance, and behavioral finance.

My research interests are focused on banking, corporate finance, and the behavioral aspects of financial decision-making and have published in top-tier international journals, including the International Journal of Bank Marketing and Qualitative Research in Financial Markets along with few book chapters and reviewing publications for international journals.
