Student Exchange program

The Orientation Program for Incoming Exchange Students 2018-19 commenced on 20th September, 2018.

The program was formally organised by CIA under the guidance of Dr. Rajiv Thakur, Dean Development. In his speech he welcomed the students and wished them for an exciting and adventurous learning experience during their stay in India.

About the Programme – Experience India

The students were enthralled and mesmerized to see the cultural diversity in India through the video India- land of rich culture. It was heart captivating film.The student also saw India- Lead the World, a new perspective as showcased by the Government of India.








The students interacted with different Program Office and tried to understand and imbibe the variety of course offerings with the global perspective.

Dr. Ritu Srivastava, steered the program the entire day and mentored and guided the students academically and otherwise.

Immigration Norms

It is important to apply for STUDENT VISA only for exchange. BIMTECH would not be able to accept students with any other visa. You are advised to be very careful on the immigration and police registration (FRRO) rules of government of India. In this document, you will find details related to VISA, immigration and police registration process and requirement of applying for police registration from BIMTECH only and in the given time only.

Student Exchange Programme – Outgoing

In order to provide cross-cultural exposure and a global perspective to the students, BIMTECH has developed an extensive International Students Exchange Network. The Exchange Programme has become increasingly popular with the students and nearly 10% of the batch gets a chance to spend a term at a Partner Institute. Efforts are underway to expand the Programme further and facilitate more number of students to avail this unique opportunity. The students not on the exchange programme benefit through interaction with the large number of overseas students spending a term at BIMTECH.
