A Day of Strategy, Learning, and Inspiration with UNIQLO India at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH).

On 3rd September 2026, BIMTECH was delighted to host UNIQLO India for a Business Contest, giving our Retail Management students an opportunity to apply their strategic thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills to real-world business challenges.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 11 teams in Round 1, each showcasing innovative ideas and strong business acumen. Following a highly competitive first round, the top 4 teams advanced to the Final Round, where they presented their solutions before an esteemed panel.

Congratulations to the winning team (Aparna Shankar, Arshia Bansal, Kavya Vishwakarma, Sandra S, and Shambhu Monga) for their exceptional performance and well-deserved victory!

One of the key highlights of the event was the insightful session led by Mr. Kenji Inoue, COO, CFO & Board Director, UNIQLO India. He shared Fast Retailing's core philosophies, UNIQLO's remarkable evolution into a global apparel brand, and the organization's commitment to creating positive social impact through initiatives such as the Saksham Centre in India.

His perspectives on business, innovation, and purpose-driven growth left a lasting impression on all participants.
