Quizzing is all about the joy of knowing and awareness and Cognicioun’19, the iconic business quiz conducted at Birla Institute of Management Technology’s Greater Noida campus on February 9, 2019, embraced exactly that. Cognicioun is a national level annual quizzing event conducted by Birla Institute of Management Technology and the Quizzing Club of BIMTECH. The quiz has the distinction of being the only event at club and conduit level in which corporates participate in numbers to pursue their hobby. This year, it was made in an open business quiz format which saw participants across all ages participate.

The 8th annual edition saw participation of more than 150 registrations of which 72 teams from corporates and colleges competed in the quiz and an additional 30 quizzing teams from BIMTECH participated. It was overwhelming for us, the organizers to see participants in such huge numbers and it indeed told us that the quiz is much appreciated by the quizzing fraternity. The event has gained tremendous respect and has become a diary event for seasoned quizzers. This year, we saw Mr. Mitesh Agarwal, VP, Global Key and Lead Accounts, Oracle India, resume the quizzing duties. It was an honor and privilege for the BIMTECH and QCB family to have him back.

KPMG extended their support as the Knowledge Partner for the event. Mr. Nitesh Jain, Associate Director, KPMG India was the chief guest for the event. Other sponsors included: Uneako, Bloc and Ink my tale.

Some of the corporate teams who participated in the quiz were SAIL, EY, Deloitte and Hero MotoCorp amongst many more.
