This year had been a very challenging placement season due to COVID-19, but in spite of this pandemic situation, we started our placements on time for the batch 2019-21, in the month of November, 2020.

The leading corporate entities from Information Technology (IT), Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), Consultancy, Manufacturing, e-commerce, FMCG/FMCD Sectors, made visit to the campus (virtually) & recruited students for their management pool.  

This year due to slow economic conditions, till date we have achieved a placement percentage of over 81% in Feb 2021.

The average compensation package offered this year is Rs 8.08 lakhs per annum (CTC).

In terms of profiles, BIMTECH saw offers for roles like Analyst, Senior Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Associate Consultant, Risk Consultant, Digital Marketing Analyst, B2B Sales, Product Manager, Manager - Customer Service & Brand Development, Sales Manager, Process Manager, Relationship Manager, Store Manager Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance / Marketing etc.

At BIMTECH, this year the placements so far had been challenging but still successful so far and hoping to close soon.





The Final Placements for the Batch 2018-20 has once again asserted the faith and confidence of the industry in the students of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida. BIMTECH is happy to announce the successful closure of placements for its batch 2018-20 with 96.59% placements.  

BIMTECH saw 117 companies participating in the placement process, rolling out over 397 Offers to 411 participants from the batch 2018-20 in various domains such as Consulting, Finance, General Management, Retail, Human Resources & Operations, Insurance, IT & Analytics, and Sales & Marketing.

Despite being a challenging year BIMTECH achieved good placement offers with a noteworthy growth on all qualitative and quantitative aspects with a good number of quality profiles being offered by prestigious recruiters. Apart from regular recruiters, 30% first time recruiters were gracefully hosted from diverse sectors, bringing new course to the placements process.

Key Highlights

  • Across diverse industries 117 companies offered placement opportunities.
  • BFSI and IT sectors followed by Insurance and Retail had been the prominent recruiting sectors.
  • Average compensation for the batch 2018-20 is INR 8.13 lakhs per annum (CTC) with average package of top 100 students is above INR 10.03 lakhs per annum.
  • Placements at BIMTECH have seen an increase in domestic package by 12.50% with highest being INR 18.00 Lakhs per annum and international package by 15% with highest being INR 23.00 Lakhs per annum.
  • Batch saw a significant surge in the numbers of PPI/PPO opportunities owing to successful summer internships as well as active participation and involvement from alumni. PPOs this year at BIMTECH have zoomed by 300% over last year.
  • The institute also witnessed participation from International recruiters including RAK Ceramics, Landmark (Home Centre) and few more who offered roles across Sales, Marketing, Retail, and Operations.
  • Skills of BIMTECH students were appreciated by majority recruiters.

Placement Update 2017-19


Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) had a very encouraging & successful placement for Batch of 2017-19. The season commenced in the first week of November, 2018 and concluded with the Final Placement process closer to 100%. This was achieved in a record time with faster and better opportunities with new corporates associating with the institution.

Key Highlights:

  • A total of 120 companies participated in the placement process, with over 40 first time recruiters who offered coveted roles across domains.
  • BFSI and IT / ITES had been the largest recruiting sector this year.
  • Average compensation offered for the batch 2017-19 is Rs. 8.02 lakhs per annum (CTC) and the corresponding median salary has also risen to Rs. 8.24 lakhs per annum.
  • Highest Compensation is Rs. 20.00 lakhs per annum (International) and Rs. 16.00 lakhs per annum (Domestic)
  • Placements have seen a boost from successful stint of students at summer internships leading to improved pre-placement offers (PPOs) as well as alumni involvement.  PPOs at BIMTECH have risen by 50 % over last year.

As a mater fact, commencing from November 01, 2017 when the placement for 2016-18 Batches began, there has not been a single dull day in the BIMTECH campus. The most common sight in the our Activity Plaza has been the buzzing about of sharp suited young men and women shuttling between the class rooms where recruiters were holding the process, some times between 8.00 am lasting right up to the midnight.  As of now  more than 97% of BIMTECH’s Post Graduate management students (420) of the 2016-18 Batch have found their corporate destination that they were dreaming of with a steady stream of companies waiting their turn.
