FOOODISTAN 2.0


Frooosh being a part of Retail Program of BIMTECH since last 8 years, once again organised its flagship event “FOOODISTAN 2.0”-The Frooosh Week. The event started with a Pre-Buzz which included “Golgappa Challenge” and other fun games, which were held on 31 st January2020. Further, the major event continued for 7 days from February 1 st to February 7 th , 2020.

 

 

 

The thought behind organizing the event was to provide opportunity to students to operate FROOOSH for one day by collaborating with other departments so that they can have hands on experience from organizing inventory to final operation. The teams were selected from different courses to encourage the involvement of entire college and as a result teams did their best to make the event a great success. We were honoured to have with us our Alumni Mr. Pratik Garg –Category Manager at Landmark group as our Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony. The ceremony also graced by our Director- Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Prof. Kumanduri Ranga Chari, Dr.KC Arora, Mr. Manoj Kumar Pant , Dr. Rishi Tiwari, Mr. Rajib Sharma, Dr. Pooja Mangal Misra, Prof. Veenu Sharma and our judges for the event, Ms. Sunita Chauturvedi, Ms. Shubhra Varma and Ms. Pooja Sharma.

 

 

The next 7 days of the event were full of enthusiasm and excitement.

The event fooodistan ended with inviting our esteemed alumni Mr. Nikhil Sharma, Mr. Shrey Mahajan, Mr. Abhishek Khullar, Ms. Aditi Gupta.

 

The winner of the event was team 6 Foodgasm, which was awarded the title “VYAPAARI OF THE YEAR”. The team members were: Samyak Jain, Arushi Kerni, Archika Singh, Prasahant Kumar Singh, Priya Gupta and Ishaan Gupta. We also included additional Titles such as “Loyal Customers”, “Best Promotion” was given to Team “BITE LOVERS”, “BEST PRESENTATION” was given to Team “HAKUNA MATATA”, “Best INNOVATIVE DISH” was given to Team –“HAKUNA MATATA” and “ YUMMY TUMMY”.
 

 

The event was full of zeal and enthusiasm and grabbed a good participation which acted as positive encouragement for FROOOSH and added up to another milestone for the venture.
