Pawan Ashok Kamble is an Academic Associate in the Economics and International Business area at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), India. His research focuses on inclusive finance, with particular emphasis on household financial resilience and financial behavior in response to various types of economic shocks. He is interested in how households navigate financial challenges and build their capability to cope with and prepare for future vulnerabilities.

Pawan’s broader research interests include fintech, financial inclusion, financial literacy, and financial well-being, combining behavioral insights with policy analysis. He has contributed to several government and academic projects in collaboration with IIT Bombay, including roles as a Research Fellow with the Ministry of Rural Development, Research Associate with the CSR Study Unit, and Meghalaya State Project Manager for the Centre of Excellence in Child Nutrition in partnership with UNICEF India.
