About Visit
The group reached Newgen’s corporate office in Greater Noida at about 11:00 am. There we were briefed about the company and its products via a multimedia presentation about the company. There we also got the chance to see different products manufactured by the company as all products were displayed in the multimedia hall.

Next, we visited their manufacturing facility which was about 15 minutes’ drive from their corporate office. There we were shown manufacturing process of plastic pallets. It was being done in a roto-molding machine using LDPE (low density poly ethylene) material. Plastic powder was fed into the mold manually by workers and then the roto-molding process starts. After the process is completed, final product which is a plastic pallet is ejected manually by the labor from its mold. After ejecting, this product is sent to the other section where plastic flash sticking at the sides is removed and proper finishing is given to the product. Next, it is finally stored in the finished goods area. We were also shown the filling area where a special plastic compound was being filled into the insulating containers. This is achieved through use of special jigs/fixtures depending upon the shape & size of a product. Finally, the visit ended with a group photograph.
