About Bimtech

Birla Institute of Management Technology was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture and supported by the Birla group of companies. Late Basant Kumar Birla and Sarala Birla, Chairperson of B K Birla Group of companies, are the business school’s founders.

BIMTECH is mini India in its formation every year. It has students from almost all of India’s states and a few foreign countries. Its mix of nationalities, cultural backgrounds, and academic and professional experiences makes BIMTECH one of the country’s most exciting and enriching business schools.

The fully residential campus of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), located in the National Capital Region, is one of the top PGDM Institutes to study in India. It runs four full-time Postgraduate diploma programmes, i.e. PGDM, PGDM -International Business, PGDM –Retail Management, and PGDM -Insurance Business Management. All these courses have MBA equivalence by AIU. All classes are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). BIMTECH recently got the coveted US-based AACSB accreditation, considered the Gold Standard in management education.
