NBA accreditation received by PGDM programme under the third cycle.

Course Overview

NBA accreditation received by PGDM programme under the third cycle.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) offers a two-year, full-time residential programme, approved by AICTE and MHRD, Govt. of India. The programme is divided into six trimesters. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme is meticulously designed and structured on a trimester basis, aligning with the institute’s vision and mission. It includes all key areas of specialization available throughout the course, offering a comprehensive selection of electives across various management functions. This design aims to cultivate high- caliber professionals dedicated to effective organizational management. The primary goal is to create a learning environment that fosters leadership and entrepreneurship among students preparing them for global competition.

The PGDM curriculum includes immersion courses for foundational business concepts and core courses in essential management areas. Experiential learning is a critical component of the program, offering hands-on experience through internships and projects. The program ensures professional development through other courses like Non-Teaching Credit Courses (NTCC) and skill-based courses that develop competencies in data analysis and technology usage for modern business challenges. These components collectively help students understand current business challenges and equip them with updated technologies and advanced pedagogy to meet global business demands effectively. Students also undertake a Summer Internship Project (SIP) from May to June.

Additionally, a dissertation is a pivotal component of the fifth and sixth trimesters. In the first two trimesters, students receive extensive learning in core courses. From the third to the sixth trimester, students complete a mix of core and elective courses, allowing them to tailor their education according to their interests. The dissertation provides students with the opportunity to delve deeply into a specific area of interest, applying theoretical knowledge to practical problems and contributing to the field of management. This rigorous academic exercise enhances research skills, critical thinking, and the ability to formulate and test hypotheses, thereby significantly augmenting the student’s expertise and readiness for the industry.

Over the two-year programme, students engage in over 1,000 hours of contact teaching, supplemented by extra and co-curricular activities, including special guest lectures. This comprehensive approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared to meet the dynamic challenges of the global business environment.

Our Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time residential programme that is deemed as equivalent to an MBA. This is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
