Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) proudly welcomed its 2025-27 batch with a resounding 38th Commencement Day Programme! It was a day filled with inspiration, wisdom, and a powerful call to action for our aspiring leaders.
We were honored to host distinguished guests who shared invaluable insights: Our Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Gulati, COO, IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, urged students to be multi-skilled specialists, emphasizing the importance of enriching their soul and brain, not just their CVs. He famously quoted, "Age No Bar, Learning Bar Bar," and provided a forward-looking perspective on AI, encouraging students to leverage it for good, as the new generation are 'AI natives'.
Our first Guest of Honor, Mr. Amit Gupta, Global Head of "Data Strategy & AI" at Mastercard Data & Services, shared his transformative journey. He highlighted that an MBA not only increases financial value but, more importantly, enhances social value, making individuals CEOs of their own careers and lives. He encouraged students to be humble, curious, and to embrace risks by stepping out of their comfort zones to achieve "miracles."
Our second Guest of Honor, Ms. Manjari Jaruhar, IPS (Retd.), one of India's first five women IPS officers, captivated the audience with her journey from Bihar to leading in a male-dominated field in the 1970s-80s. She shared profound lessons on converting challenges into opportunities, stressed that "Knowledge is Power," and powerfully stated, "Chair is not important but the person sitting there is." She inspired students to be constructive and act with integrity.
Our esteemed Director, Dr. PRABINA RAJIB, articulated BIMTECH's vision for the new batch, setting the stage for their transformative journey. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. pankaj priya, Deputy Director.
