Professor of Decision Sciences in the Operations and Decsion Science area at Birla Institute of Management Technology. Joined BIMTECH in June 2009 as an Associate Professor in the Operations Area. I teach papers in Quantitative techniques, including Business Statistics, Research Methodology and Predictive Business Analytics.
Prior to joining academia in 2009, I have worked for 27 years in the Information Technology sector where I have worked with several Indian IT majors. My experience is in end-to-end IT project management for big international clients, and have been involved in Account Management, Project Management, Software Architecture, Quality Assurance, Feasibility Studies and Critical Information Systems Planning. I have brought many critical projects to successful conclusion. I have a deep understanding of requirements, stated as well as implicit, and the experience of designing appropriate solutions.
