He has had a varied experience in different positions in Underwriting, Product Development, Business Development and Risk Management in both Public Sector and Private sector Insurance companies. He has served at various positions in United India Insurance Co, Tata AIG, IFFCO Tokio, L&T Insurance.

With a post graduation from Delhi University, and a PGDM from IGNOU, he has been actively involved in consultancy work, training and advisory functions related to activities in the General Insurance Industry. He is also a member of the Insurance Institute of India.

He has also been involved in imparting knowledge by virtue of being Visiting Faculty at B Schools and other educational institutions in Delhi NCR.
