Shalini Singh has over 25 years of experience spanning entrepreneurship, corporate, consulting and academia. She currently serves as Adjunct Professor in the area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Chairperson of the Centre for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Development (CIED) at BIMTECH, Greater Noida. In her role as Chairperson, she also oversees the activities and strategic initiatives of AIC-BIMTECH.
Prior to joining BIMTECH, Shalini co-founded QorQl, a health-tech startup focused on digitally transforming healthcare in India, which was subsequently acqui-hired by Paytm. She has also held management roles at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), contributing to strategic human resource initiatives, organizational development, and talent management. In addition, she has consulted for early-stage startups helping build organizations from the ground up and scale teams across technology, product, sales and operations functions.
Shalini holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Hons.), a Master's degree in Psychology (Organizational Behaviour), and a Ph.D. in Management. Her research interests include entrepreneurship and innovation, organizational culture and employee empowerment and has published research in reputed international journals. With a unique blend of industry, startup and academic experience, Shalini is passionate about fostering innovation, nurturing entrepreneurial talent and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
