Sourabh Bishnoi

Associate Professor

Biosketch

Dr. Sourabh Bishnoi is an Associate Professor at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), with over 25 years of post-doctoral academic and administrative experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra, and an MBA from Allahabad Agriculture Institute. His teaching and research expertise span Quantitative Techniques, Operations Research, Statistics, Research Methodology, and Data Analytics. Dr. Bishnoi has held key roles, including Programme Chairperson and PGDM Coordinator at BIMTECH. He has also contributed to international academic collaborations with Maharishi University of Management, USA. His research interests include mathematical programming, multi-criteria decision-making, and higher education, with several publications in reputed journals. Passionate about academic excellence, he has significantly contributed to curriculum design and institutional development, and continues to play a pivotal role in shaping future business leaders.

  • Worked with Prof. Ken Cevanough, the US based coordinator to develop course modules for Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IOWA, USA for organizing and conducting their course modules from year 2001 till 2004.

  • Worked as Dy. Registrar (Examinations) at Birla Institute of Management& Technology Greater Noida.
  • Worked as Registrar at Accman Institute of Management with the responsibilities of Examination Controller, Admission In Charge, and In Charge of AICTE and other regulatory matters. Achievements include approval for a total intake of 240 students within two years of existence, filling up of all seats since inception, introduction and implementation of trimester system, and conduct of examinations and declaration of results as per timelines given in a smooth and transparent manner.
  • Worked as Academic Coordinator for International MBA programme affiliated to Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, IOWA, U.S.A. at Maharishi Institute of Management, Noida, India, from Jan 2001 to August 2004.
